As Vaylin's flagship, the Devastator got closer to Korriban, the red planet continuing to light up as the sun light consumed the planet, Kira became more anxious. Vaylin had brought her to the homeworld of the Sith species, one of the core worlds of the Sith Empire. Was Vaylin planning on turning her over to the Sith? Had the Sith joined the Eternal Empire? Kira's mind raced with hundreds of questions as the Sith world got bigger and bigger.
"I'm not going down there! That's Korriban, home to the Sith!" Kira said pacing back and forth, as Vaylin grudgingly watched her every movement.
"Oh yes you are," Vaylin replied. "You were a student at the Korriban Sith Academy, you're going to escort me through the corridors of your old home ... and if you're really good, I'll allow you to accompany me to Darth Imperious' reception."
"Darth Imperious is your lackey?"
"Apparently she's hosting a reception in my honour, she even promised executions and other forms of entertainment."
"I don't dine with the Sith Empire!"
"Have it your way, you're still coming!" Vaylin said mockingly, "And you're going to enjoy it!"
Vaylin took a step back, turning to one of her guards who was carrying a large case. Vaylin took the case and projected it through the force towards Kira.
"Put that on," Vaylin said, pointing to the case she just threw at Kira. "Or if you want, I suppose you can go as you are."
Frowning at her options, Kira opened the case to find a Zakuulian outfit, a crimson robe designed in traditional Zakuul attire, worn by people in prestige positions, tailored on Vaylin's orders specifically for Kira.
"Pretty isn't it, I'm not a fan of the red, it's too smooth for my tastes, but I think it'll look good on you."
"Your people certainly have a unique taste," Kira responded. "I'm surprised you gave me this, I was expecting something far less desirable."
Vaylin chuckled as she pulled her hood over her head, obscuring her long dark brown hair underneath it, "Don't think the idea didn't come to me, I want the Sith to know fear - and maybe a little bit insulted at the thought of a Jedi walking through their supposedly great monument."
"Are you trying to get me killed?!" Kira exclaimed.
"If I wanted you dead, you would be." Vaylin responded, "Don't worry, my knights will accompany us to the surface, should any Sith decide the galaxy would be a better place without you, they've been instructed to ransack the Sith Academy."
"And how exactly is that suppose to help me?!"
"Help you?" Vaylin asked, grinning at Kira. "I just want more information concerning the Sith, if they decide you have to die, I will know the Sith are easily provoked."
"Ah, so I'm just cannon fodder, there to lure you from one possible assassination attempt to the next?"
"Well ... you said it," Vaylin said. "Now come, I want to explore the Sith World before I get bored of the red skinned freaks."
